Bike ride to Golden Gardens park and picnic

March 31st, 2001

Meeting at 1:30PM in Sieg on March 31st, a bike ride to Golden Gardens park. Distance is medium (about eight miles), very little elevation change, mostly on trail. This will give the prospectives a chance to ride a bit of the Burke-Gilman/Sammammish River trail system which stretches for over twenty miles from the western side of the ship canal to the north reaches of Lake Sammammish (the next lake east from Lake Washington).

We'll probably head back at around 4:00-4:30 depending on the picnic.

Steve will be able to supply two bikes for others to use. We can probably scrounge up more than that.
